Bluetooth is the latest wireless technology. Bluetooth hands-free car kits do not require a headset to be worn, and the wirelesstechnology makes phone handling in the car a lot more convenient. Just leave your phone in your pocket or bag, turn the ignition key and you’re ready to make, take or reject calls while driving. Watch a Bluetooth kit in action below.

Bluetooth kits for a vehicle are available three different ways; portable systems that simply clip onto a sunvisor, installed-systems that integrate with the factory installed stereo, and new replacement stereo systems. We focus on the last two types as we feel their operation is vastly superior to the portable units.

Here is an example of what happens when you receive a call with one of our installed devices; you are driving up the road and your phone rings. Whatever music you are listening to is muted, and the phone is actually ringing through your car’s speakers. You push a button to answer the call, and now you talk to the person using the microphone that we installed. They talk back to you through your stereo systems existing speakers. This is a much superior method of hands-free conversation.

Quite simply, our Bluetooth kits allow you to focus on driving your vehicle without the distraction of holding the phone or trying to hear it over your stereo system.

We sell two different kinds of Bluetooth kits that integrate with the factory stereo system. For luxury vehicles such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, etc, we have kits that integrate seamlessly with the factory stereo system using all of the original controls and displays. We sell brands such as Dension, MoBridge, and Nav-TV for these vehicles. Email or call us for more information on these systems.

On some vehicles the Bluetooth is integrated with the factory stereo system but uses an external controller. We sell four different Bluetooth kits that integrate this way. They are all made by Parrot. Parrot is actually one of the providers of Bluetooth chips to many of the cell phone manufacturers’ and quite simply, their product will pair with more phones than the competition. Below are the four systems we currently offer;

The MKi series from Parrot are their next generation units. They use a dual microphone noise cancellation technology that offers superior clarity. They come with a controller that can be conveniently mounted on the steering wheel or on the dash for the ultimate in convenience and safety. They also come with a USB port that gives you the opportunity to play music on a portable media source such as a flash drive. These units can also play and control an iPod or iPhone. The difference between the units is in the display. The MKi9000 has no display. The MKi9100 uses a blue fluorescent display for caller id and music information. The MKi9200 uses a full color display that can even show pictures.

Our Replacement radio options come from Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and Clarion that include Bluetooth as a built-in feature. These radios start at under $200! Plus almost all of our radios, in dash video, and Navigation systems we sell can have a Bluetooth module added to them. Call or email us for more information.

Important!
Phones include their own software, often referred to as ‘firmware’. Bluetooth hands-free kits have application software that interacts with the phones’ own software in order to provide advanced hands-free features. Because of this not all Bluetooth hands-free kits interact and/or provide all of your phone’s features. Please call or stop in and check what is available for your phone.
